Being a case study

Today was a very long day, but it was totally worth it.

I went to Nepean Hospital to be a case study for second year med students, and it was pretty interesting. Four groups of students came through and heard about Cushing’s and the stroke, and they asked me questions, and I hope that it was useful. I’m going back on Thursday to be a case study for the rest of the second year med students.

I also gave my endo the soft toy pituitary gland!

I also saw my endo as a patient later in the day, and I’m on a lower dose of hydrocortisone, I can stop iron tablets, and my thyroid is normal despite no thyroid drugs. Today is also exactly six months after the stroke, so I can stop Warfarin. My body is the most awesome thing EVER.
