There are a few fundraisers planned for the next few months.
1. Stroke Awareness Morning Tea at the Urban Research Centre on Thursday, the 23rd July, 2009. A nurse will speak about stroke and how to recognise stroke, and a personal trainer will speak about personal fitness and nutrition. It is from 10:30am to 11:30am, and at Level 6, 34 Charles Street, Parramatta, NSW.
Entry is minimum $10.
2. Trivia night at the Rose of Australia Hotel in Erskineville on Monday the 14th September, 2009. Reta from Trivia Magic will be hosting it, and there will be a silent auction. It starts at 7pm, and is at 1 Swanson Street, Erskineville, NSW.
Entry is minimum $15.
3. An Amazing Race around Sydney on Saturday, the 10th October 2009. It will be hosted by the guys from Great Race.
Entry will be $45. $20 will be for the guys to cover their costs, and $25 will be a tax deductible donation to the National Stroke Foundation. If you wish to participate in this one, please donate a $25 deposit at my page, and bring $20 on the day for the balance. This allows me to work out numbers for the day.
4. Fundraiser concert at the Red Rattler on Friday the 16th October 2009. It will feature five bands and be from 8pm to midnight.
Entry is minimum $15.
For all of the events, it will be a lot easier if you can donate online and use your receipt as a ticket to entry. If you want to attend multiple events, simply add together the ticket costs and put it through in one transaction. In the comment, please note which event it covers, or whether you are just being lovely and donating without going to an event.
