The spots that turned out to be haemorrhagging, but confused the first two doctors that saw them. These covered both my arms, and when I saw the first doctor, he asked me questions about diet and lifestyle and whether I’d done anything unusual. He ended up telling me to put moisturiser on them and go away.

The stretch marks from Cushing’s that appeared because, according to one doctor, I got fat. And by fat, I mean I put on three kilos.

The same stretch marks, a little lower down.

Stretch marks all around my boobs. You can see some bruising too, and how fragile the skin was. Yeah, Cushing’s is fun.
And some stats, in case I ever want to refer back to them and forget. I’m 165cm tall. When I was admitted into hospital for surgery, so when Cushing’s was probably at its peak, I weighed 63 kilos. Throughout 2006-2007, my weight was around 56 kilos, without any unusual dieting or exercising. In May this year, when I pretty much stopped eating because emotional stuff made me not want to eat, I weighed 54 kilos. That was before starting at the gym. Now, I’ve been going to the gym three or four times a week and bike riding at least once a week, and eating normal amounts. I weigh about 55-56 kilos.
